She was predeceased by : her parents, James Ellars and Naomi Ellars (Kimmey); her daughter Heather Renee Mills Gordon; and her siblings, Connie Jean Jones, James Ellars, Jr. and Charles Cox.

She is survived by : her son David Joe Mills (Jen); her nieces, Khloe Willett and Judy Ellars; her grandchildren, Skylar Mills, Bryce Mills and Benjamin Mills; and her sister Sharon Downard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.
