He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Sr. Penwell-Haines and LuLu Cottrell Penwell-Haines; his brothers, Kenny Jones and Terry Stolzenburg; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Stolzenburg and Neil DeWitt.
He is survived by : his children, Robert Eldon III Penwell (Jewel), Judy Rachelle Smith, Ashley Sue Truman (Shawn), Miguel Antonio Penwell (Kali), Corbin Seay, Manuel Gonzales (Shannon) and Tyler Phillips (Nattali); his grandchildren, Alexis Nicole Penwell, Jarlissa Raelynn Maker, Jordan Eldon Penwell, Diamond Mae Penwell, Hallie Joe Penwell, Hayden Mae Penwell, Alei, Demi Gonzales, Braxton Gonzales, Rayne Phillips and Skye Phillips; his great grandchild Jeremiah Paul Howard; his siblings, Homer Penwell (Kathy), David Stolzenburg, Frank Stolzenburg (Bernice), Ella Jean Howell (Jerry), Hazel Poole (Lamond), Sherry DeWitt and Ruth Ann Penwell; and his close friends, Jodi Phillips, Joey Phillips and Charles Ward. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
