She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Smith Jr. and Opal Smith (Cross). She is survived by: her husband Dean VandenBroek; her children, Keith (Kelly), Nicholas (Angela) and Heather VandenBroek; and her brother Rick Smith (Cathy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
