She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Marshall and Ruth Marshall (Brown); her husband David William "Bill" Bassitt; and her brother Walter Bud Marshall. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Patterson, Suzy Evans and Mark Bassitt; her grandchildren, Jason, Lindsay, Liam, Logan and Leah; and her great grandchildren, Emerson and Theodore.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers, that remembrances in Margie's name be made to the Armes Family Cancer Center or the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County.
