He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Lee Fuerbacher; his daughter Monta Jean; his grandson Zachary; his siblings, Carl Fuerbacher and Betty Kay Topper; and his parents, Carl Fuerbacher and Mathilda Fuerbacher.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Jr. (late Judy), Terry (Barb), Tim Fuerbacher (Cindy), Sharon Lynch (Tim) and Bonnie Schweickart (Jim); his grandchildren, Donald III, Jason (Jamie), Gina, Tristan (Megan), Emily (Andrew), Alex, Tyler Fuerbacher, John Lynch (Heather), Clint and Sam Schweickart; his great grandchildren, Ciera, Jason Jr., Cheyenne, Damian, Adrianna, Gavin, Ryland, Avery, Everett Fuerbacher, Jeremy and Justin Lynch; his stepgrandchild Cory; and his sister-in-law Judy Wesley.
