He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell Buess and Clara Buess (Clinger); his wife Marjorie Buess; his siblings, Norman Buess and Marjorie Ann Conley (Sis); and his pet Heidi.
He is survived by: his children, David Wayne of Goodrich, MI and Susan Metzger of Lynn, IN; his brothers, Ronnie Wharton (Barbara) and Lonnie Joe; his grandchildren, Jennifer Flemings (Brad) of Fostoria, OH, Jasmine, Hollie and Chad; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Macy, Layne, Matilyn, Peyton, Christian, Braxton and Xander.
