Wendel of Fort Recovery, Ohio, born in Osgood, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony Drees and Sophia Drees (Hartings); her spouse Ermin Wendel; her son Tom Wendel; her siblings, Bernie Wendel (Art), Mary Mueller (Henry), Rose Gruss (Vic), Clem, Larry and Walt Drees; and her parents-in-law, Novella Lauber (Albert), Thelma Schindler (Irvin), Werner Wendel (Pat), Joan Wendel and Virgil Wendel.
She is survived by : her children, Pat Puthoff (Rog) of Bradford, OH, John Wendel (Lori) of Michigan City, IN, Richard Wendel of Coldwater, Don Wendel (Pat) of Fort Recovery, Randy Wendel (Kathy) of Fort Recovery, Gin Peyla (Mike) of Fort Recovery, Marlene Shade (Michael Harris) of Celina and Marcia Loper (John) of Columbia City, IN; her sister Dorothy Kanney of Coldwater; her sister-in-law Sandy Drees of Fort Wayne, IN; and her parents-in-law, Imelda Wilker (Jerry) of New Bremen, OH, Elmer Wendel of Fort Recovery, Alvin Wendel (Martha) of Fort Recovery and Melvin Wendel of Coldwater. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
