He was predeceased by: his brother Michael; and his brother-in-law Timothy Balraj. He is survived by: his parents, William Steele and Ruth Steele (Yohe); his spouse Lamona "Mona" Sharp; his children, James Eugene Steele (LeeAnn) and Molly Ann Spanfellner (Jeremy); his grandsons, Nathaniel, Tyler, Logan, Andrew and Brayden; and his siblings, Lorilei Balraj and Harry William Steele (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
