She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Koudelka and Mary A. Koudelka (Werling); her husband James E. Smith; and her brother Greg Koudelka. She is survived by: her children, Suellen J. Gehring (Jerry Puterbaugh), Janis M. Foard (James), Nancy L. Nighswander (Beau), Timothy J. Smith Indianopolis and Daniel J. Smith (Malissa); her grandchildren, Mark Gehring (Susan), Gina Murray, Brittany Lanicek (Steve), Ben Nighswander, Maleah Wells (Shayne) and DJ Partee (Anna); her great grandchildren, Steven, Lucy, Lila, Caroline, Griffin, Taylor and Gwen; her siblings, James F. (Judy) and Mary; and her close friend Bob Haefling.
