He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Rietzke and Vivian Rietzke (Nelson); and his brother John Rietzke. He is survived by : his wife Marjorie Shaver of Fostoria; and his sons, Michael Rietzke (April) of Fostoria, Donald Adams (Tina) of Fredricksburg and David Adams (Yvonne) of Kettering.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
