Phillip Burgess Obituary

Phillip "Scott" Burgess, 53, of Tate Township, Ohio, passed away on March 25, 2025, under hospice care. He was born on June 14, 1971, to Phillip Edward and Glenda (nee Vice) Burgess, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Tracy Johnson, and aunts, Gloria Vice and Midge (Larry) Feazel.

Scott had a passion for music and playing the guitar. He found comfort in creating and performing music. He played in a local band named "The Myths" allowing him to collaborate and share his creativity with other music lovers. His father reminisces over the hunting trips they had the opportunity to share together.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 315 W. Plane Street, Bethel, Ohio 45106, from 9:30 AM until 11 AM. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8500 Gallia Pike, Franklin Furnace, Ohio 45629, at 2 PM.
