He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Ray Bowman. He is survived by: his mother Bertha June McCall Rowe of Franklin Furnace; and his brothers, Rodney Jay Bowman (Vickie) of Chesapeake, Carl Ray Bowman of Franklin Furnace and Curtis Dale Bowman (Tamara) of Ashland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
