He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Traster and Frances Traster; his wife Norma J. Traster; and his children, Richard Traster Jr. and Patricia Burkholder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roxanne Sulzbach (Dennis) and Kathy Traster; and his sister Marlene Crockett. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Schermesser Eberhardt Funeral Home (600 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, OH 44319). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Hillside Memorial Park (1025 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312).
