She was predeceased by: her son Donny Elkins; and her siblings, Gleo, Delmar, Shirl, Bill, Eddie, Roselee and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Cottrell (Kim) and Penny Apted; her stepson Mike Miller; and her sisters, Ella Bess and Linda Bess. She is also survived by five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel (18260 Coshocton Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
