It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan L. Voggenthaler of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Voggenthaler and Zelma Voggenthaler; and his brother Jack Voggenthaler. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Sipsma Voggenthaler (Wells); his children, Laurie Voggenthaler and David Voggenthaler; his granddaughter Kate Voggenthaler; his stepson Michael Sipsma; his stepgrandchildren, Alex Sipsma and Meghan Sipsma; and his stepgreat-grandson Nash Sipsma.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Fremont Ross Athletic Department in his name towards the wrestling program, CASA of Sandusky County, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Stein Hospice, or the donor's choice.
