He was predeceased by : his mother Janet I; and his brother Millard, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Cherryl; his daughters, Sherry Whittridge (Rick) and Chanda Williams (Matthew); his grandchildren, Rhett, Charis and Ana; his sister Donna Swearingen; and his nephews, Mark, Steve Eakins, Tim and Todd Swearingen.

Donations can be made in his memory to the Delaware Humane Society.
