He was predeceased by : his parents, Beecher E. Gross and Lyda M. Gross (Moffit); his wife Mildred R. "Millie" Crawford; and his siblings, Ernest "Shorty", George "Doug", Junior "Tom" Gross and Mary "Becky" Herr.

He is survived by : his children, Elizabeth "Beth" Shade (Chad) of Bucyrus and Jeffery Gross of Galion; his granddaughters, Brenna, Madalon "Butterfly" and Ashlin Grayce; and his pets, Lily and Riley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
