He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. and Joyce M. Wildenthaler Sr. (Baldinger). He is survived by: his children, David Wildenthaler (Rhonda) of Lorain, Chris Wildenthaler of Galion and Kim Chandler (Eric) of Galion; his grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, Bradley, Madison, Callie, Kate, Victoria and Eleanor; his great grandchildren, Madison, Riley, Victoria and Sophia; and his siblings, Leo Wildenthaler (Ruth Ann) of Troy, Joe Wildenthaler (Kathy) of Columbus and Margaret Goldsberry (Jim) of Maryland.
