With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald James of Galion, Ohio, born in Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy James and Elsie James (Campbell). He is survived by: his wife Paulette "Skip" James (Forshaw); his children, Kyle James (Sheri) and Traci Whitcraft (Scott) of Charleston, TN; his stepsons, Edward Mulvaine and Eric James (Karen); his grandchildren, Kylee James, Kaleb Whitcraft (Rebecca), Courtney Duncan, Taylor Whitcraft, Brianna Parker (Rylan), Gabriella VanHorne, Jordan Whitcraft, Meg Hampton (Christopher), Alex James (Stephen Joyner) and Zach James; and his siblings, Melvin James, Wayne James (Debbie) and Laura May Cobb. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Colonel Crawford Athletic Boosters, in care of the funeral home.
