It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James L. Murphy of Galion, Ohio, born in Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leroy Murphy and Corabelle Murphy; his sister Betty Anne Rigeon; his uncle Addison Hunt; and the mother of his children Janice Murphy.
He is survived by: his sister Patricia Hunt; his nephews, James Hunt (Diane) and Rob Hunt; his great-niece Laura Hunt; his daughters, Linda Murphy-Seidel Charek (Russ) and Kathleen Murphy; his grandsons, Mark Murphy Seidel (Rachael) and Julian Link; and his great grandchildren, Madilyn Murphy Seidel and Regan Terese Seidel.
Due to the horrible toll COVID has taken on our world, nation, and family, there will be a private family burial, with Military honors on Monday, March 29th, 2021.
