With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Carmer of Galion, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on July 3, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hoverland and Dawn J. Stitt (Miller); her husband William T. Carmer; her sister-in-law Lee Hoverland; her son-in-law Lanny Bodkins; and her stepfather Preston Stitt.
She is survived by: her children, John Carmer of Galion, Beth Bodkins of Tennessee and Julia Roelle (Mike) of Galion; her brother Jim Hoverland (Diane) of Galion; her grandchildren, Abraham Bodkins (Tangie), Rileigh Ray, Lindsay Carmer, Jarrod Roelle, Joseph Roelle and Jacob Roelle (Brittney); and her great grandchildren, Xander, Willow Kennedi, Maliya Grace, Oliver, Addilyn and Camilla.
Memorial contributions may be made to Women's Auxiliary of Galion Hospital.
