It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Kennedy of Galion, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Maurene Jo Kennedy; and his siblings, Olive Rebecca Jensen and Joseph Lee Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Ann Kennedy (Briggs); his daughters, Susan Kennedy of Galion, Beverly Jurek (Allen) of Florida and Rebecca Armstrong (Carl) of Shiloh; his grandchildren, Michelle Kennedy, Joel Jurek, Stacie Wilkinson, Theresa Guilfoyle, John Armstrong, Elizabeth Armstrong, Jasen Cassady, Jennifer Robertson and Robert Zirkel; and his brothers, James and Neil Kennedy. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital for Children, at Shriners Children's Ohio One Children's Plaza - 2W Dayton, Ohio 45404.
