She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Deisch and Fannie Deisch (Amick); her former husband Harold Blackford; her husband Emmett P. Matthews; her son Tom Blackford; her stepdaughter Karen Raymer; her great grandchild Larrisa Blackford; and her siblings, Alta Nelson, Mary Drake, Dorothy Dixon, Maritta Hensley, Lenor Linder, Mildred Jerger, Elizabeth Plew, Kenneth Deisch, James Deisch and Paul Deisch.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Miley (Steve) of Mansfield and Dennis Blackford (Kimberly) of Galion; her stepchildren, Prentise Matthews (Susan), Frances Pfalzgraf (Tom) and Kathy Wagar (Fred); and her grandchildren, David Blackford (Misty), Mike Blackford (Tammy), Daniel Blackford (Amy), Dustin Miley, Heather DiOrio (Dan), Jessica Predmore (Robert) and Matthew Colmenares. She is also survived by nine step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, 20 step-great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
