It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Eileen Smiley of Galion, Ohio, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Stevens and Lottie Stevens (Steigerwald); her husband Lorance Eugene "Gene" Smiley; her sons-in-law, Thomas McClarren and Bill Bittner; and her siblings, Gerald Cecil "Stubby" Stevens, Russell Stevens, Walter Stevens, Robert Stevens, Fairy Casey Pendelton and Raymond Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara McClarren (John Reale), Sandra K. Bittner, Michael Smiley (Teresa) and Paula Smiley; her grandchildren, Jason McClarren (Debbie), Cristin Pappert (David), Heidi Benjamin, Shane Bittner, Tracy Lanum (Joanna), Andrea Williams (Ronald), Troy Smiley, Ronald Clum (Grace) and Chad Wright (Autumn); and her brother Norman Eugene "Sam" Stevens.
