He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. Bessinger and Alma M. Bessinger (Sharrock); his sister Jeanette St. Clair; and his sister-in-law Judith Sampsel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bessinger (Wargo) of Galion; his children, Billie Colley of Sherman and Jeff Besssinger (Sarah) of Bucyrus; his siblings, Janet Bessinger of Bucyrus and Robert Bessinger (Phyllis) of Columbus; his sister-in-law Eva George of Peru, Indiana; his grandchildren, Allison, Evan and Maxwell Bessinger; and his close friends, Trisha Jaworsky (Bo) of Mansfield and Bonnie Gamble of Mansfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
