He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Herschler and Lois Herschler (Chandler); his wife Nancy Herschler; his son Troy Herschler; and his brother Frank Herschler.
He is survived by: his son Barry Herschler (Cassie) of Bucyrus; his stepchildren, Scott Gates (Missy) of Galion and Tiffany Gates of Northfield; his grandchildren, Hayden Herschler (Abbey) of Marysville, Carson of Bucyrus, Kale Herschler of Bucyrus, Alexandra Craft (Andy) of Mansfield, Samantha Shawk (Thomas) of Grovetown, GA and Brooklyn Gates of Galion; and his siblings, Molly Case (Bob) of Port Clinton and Vikki Carter of Marion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of Altercare; or the Hattie Larlham Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
