He was predeceased by : his parents, Tilden Parsons and Anna Mae Parsons; his former life partner Arvilla Parsons; his children, Vernon, James, Dennis Parsons, Priscilla Parsons, Joyce Grimmette and Lorene Sigman; his daughter-in-law Deanna Parsons; his grandson Jackie Lee Parsons, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Brandy Long and Brody Gardner.
He is survived by : his wife Leah Parsons; his children, Anna Marsh (Richard) of Man, Peggy Yeauger (Barry) of Cheshire, Ohio and Jack Parsons (Lisa) of Gallipolis; his children-in-law, Connie Parsons of Gallipolis, Larry Grimmette (Carolyn) of Gallipolis and John L. Sigman of Gallipolis; and his sisters, Hester Maxine Murphy of Phyllis and Judy Reitmire (Jack) of Letart. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren; twenty-two great great grandchildren; and a whole host of friends.
Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of practicing social distancing and are required to follow the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
