She was predeceased by : her husband George Leo Valentine; her parents, Bascom Owens and Dorothy Owens (Musick); and her sister Norma (George). She is survived by : her children, Rita DePalatis (Lou), Tom Valentine (Anita) and Ann Ramey (Forrest); her grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Christopher, Anthony, Trent, Taylor, Brooke and Ben; her great grandchildren, Paige, Callum and Julian; and her sister Carol (Hendrickson). She is also survived by her family and many friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631).

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and volunteered at many church dinners, distributing food for the church's food bank, and making homemade noodles for various charity events.
