He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Shortridge and Joann Shortridge; his grandparents, Joseph, Marjorie Kessler, Donald and Virginia Shortridge; his aunt Linda; and his uncles, Lee Sheets and Bill Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Shortridge; his siblings, Steve Shortridge (Judy) and Lorrain Boyer; his children, Vicki Anderson (Michelle), Heather Shortridge and Justin Shortridge (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Sarah Slayman, Ben Slayman, Savannah Piotrowski, Grace Shortridge and Hope Shortridge.
