She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Betty Smith (Bassett); her brother Gary Smith; and her nephews, Aaron Smith and Jessie Smith.

She is survived by: her partner Bernie Dedor; her daughter Daniele Kerekes (James); her sister Bonnie Griffith (Don); her grandchildren, Cody, Joshua, Matthew, Kaylin and Jason; and her sibling's children, Jerry Nolan (Jackie) and Sarah Smith.
