He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret M.; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Jenkins; and his siblings, Elmer, Floyd, Florence Budy and Ruth Zitzelberger.
He is survived by: his parents, Henry A. Koester and Minnie Koester (Laumann); his children, Janice M. Sibbersen (Bruce) of Woodville, OH, Jean L. Wietel (David) and John Jenkins of Oregon, OH; and his siblings, Edna Rideout, Donald Koester and Eleanor Cochenour. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
