He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hoeweler and Laura Hoeweler; his wife Carolyn Hoeweler; and his siblings, Irene Dunham (Jim) and Lou Hoeweler.
He is survived by: his son Alfred "Al" Hoeweler Jr.; his stepchildren, Kimberly Mathes, Renee Stemen (Dennis) and Todd Mathes (Diane); his grandchildren, Alfred "Al" Hoeweler III, Ava Hoeweler, Adelle Hoeweler, Jordan Mathes, Zachary Mathes and Logan Mathes (Emily); his sister-in-law Mary Hoeweler; and his niece Carolyn Holland.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232).
