He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Homler and Geneva Homler (Stewart). He is survived by: his wife Helga Homler of Gibsonburg, OH; his children, Patricia Danneberger of Fostoria, OH, Elaine McLaulin of Northwood, OH, Karen Trevino of Defiance, OH and Richard Homler of Gibsonburg, OH; and his grandchildren, Bryan Danneberger, Mike Danneberger, Sarah Danneberger, Andew McLaulin, Steven McLaulin, David Spence, Daniel Trevino, Olivia Hosiegton, Jacob Hosiegton, Alexander Homler and Samantha Homler. He is also survived by three sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
