It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria North of Girard, Ohio, born in Canal Fulton, Ohio, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Archie Schwartz and Dollie Mae Schwartz (Hoschar); her husband Gene W. North; her sisters, Alice Lytle and Judy Schwartz; and her granddaughter Gabrielle.

She is survived by : her children, Elaine Izzi (Tony) of Akron, Mitchell North of Girard, Brian North of Texas and Valerie North of Girard; her sister Mary Shafer of Cortland; her grandchildren, Erica Shaw (Larry) of Akron, Karl North of Girard and Matthew North of Cortland; and her great grandchild Melody of Texas.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a small family service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, February 9th at 1:00 PM.
