He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence W. Freeman and Eileen Stiens Freeman; his wife Charlotte I. Schakler; the mother of his child Joyce Ann Freeman; his grandson Jonathan Sturgill; his son-in-law Mark T. Jackson; his nephew Adam Hacker; and his sisters, Edna Jean Freeman, Patricia Drennan and Margaret Ann Freeman.
He is survived by : his daughters, Linda Akers (Dan) of Leesburg, Colleen Freeman of Batavia, Mary Jackson of Leesburg and Kim Bedinghaus (David) of Washington, C. H.; and his siblings, Anita Marie Brewer (Curt) of Hillsboro and James Albert Freeman of Hillsboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
