Afatamah is survived by : mother Lilian Patterson (Crawford); children, Curtis Denham (Yodit), Kevin Denham, Keith Denham, Kito Denham (Keisha), Kelly Reed, Michael Porter, Rochon McNair, Nicole Rush, Tia Cowan, Lavon Thomas, Charles Thomas and Winnona Morrow (Tim); grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashanti, Destini, De'ja, Nomalanga (Felix), Yosef and Madison; and siblings, Ceaphus Patterson Jr. (Debbie), Keith Patterson, Karla Norman (Mark), Victor Sheppard (Janet) and Debbie Sheppard.
