She was predeceased by: her father Herbert McCarley; and her siblings, Robert McCarley and Pauline Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Frank Hyland; her daughters, Cindy Hyland (Teri Ruslander) and Linda Sutton (Kevin); and her brother Howard McCarley. She is also survived by friends and family.

Memorial donations may be made to Grove City United Methodist Church in her memory.
