He was predeceased by: his parents, Anson C. Sr. Mecum and Janet Lucille Mecum (Melody A. Dolby); and his siblings, Robert Whitt and Cindy Collins. He is survived by: his children, Charles E. Mecum (Johna), Tony Mecum, Josh Mecum (Kelly), Amanda Balasico (Richard Sr.), Allan Dolby (Hanna) and Ralph Doyle; his grandchildren, Monell, Shayla, Brayden, Charlise, Charlotte, Janet, Richard, McKenzie, Mariah, Zach, Jordan, Katie, Connor, Allan II, Alex, Leigha, Owen and Landon; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Weston and Airalani of Tully; his former wife Brenda Mecum; and his close friends, Vonis "Sis" Maynard, Robert Wood and Harold "PeeWee" Morris. He is also survived by two other great-grandchildren.
