Richard Alan Montell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alan Montell (Grove City, Ohio), who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew Montell and Rita Marie Montell; his sister-in-law Becky Montell; and his niece Meggan Montell. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Renee Montell; his children, Brittnie Marie Montell (David Cain), Richard Andrew Montell (Shannon) and Brian Thomas Miller; his siblings, John Montell and Anita Wedemeyer (Alan); his in-laws, Charles and Connie Miller; his siblings-in-law, Shawn Miller and Jennifer Edwards (Brad); and his grandchildren, Maddison, Joseph, Landen Gueulette, Jayden, Mackenzie, Mackayla Montell, Hannah Miller and Kynleigh Nichols.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Cecilia Church (434 Norton Rd, Columbus, OH 43228). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137).
