We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2024, at the age of 81, Edward Otto Gerhold of Groveport, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Edward Otto has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by : his parents, E. L. "Red" Gerhold and Mary Catherine Gerhold; and his sister Catherine Charlotte Zanon Gerber (Roman Gerber). He is survived by : his wife Donna (Reedy); his children, Ned, Ty of Santa Cruz, CA and Cindy; and his grandchildren, Abby and Gunner.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (5475 Brand Rd, Dublin, OH 43017).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Columbus Symphony, 55 E. State Street, Columbus, OH 43215, or Gethsemani Abbey, 3642 Monks Rd., Trappist, KY 40051-6152.
