She was predeceased by : her parents, Tom Hess and Myrtle Hess (Goade); her husband Ross Waring; her daughters, Maxine Stires and Betty Lung; and her granddaughter Lora Myers.
She is survived by : her son David Puckett of Hamersville, Ohio; and her sister Evelyn Hardy of Beckley. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
