She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thornton and Katherine McCracken (Welte); and her husband Carl W. Liggett. She is survived by : her children, Doug Carter (Joyce) of Georgetown, Ohio and Pam Taylor (Steve) of Cold Spring, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Brent Carter (Janet), John Carter (Cynthia), Rachel Bishop (Scott) and Rebecca Carter. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
