He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Isaac and MaryLee "Oxie" Day; and his brother Samuel Duane Day (Doris). He is survived by: his wife Christine Day; his son Darrell T. Day (Barbara); his grandchildren, Jeff Day (Ashley), Allison Collins (Trevor), Katie Day and Austin Day (Brittney); his great grandchildren, Gabby, Quinn and Emmi; and his sister Doris Carpenter (Floyd). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
