He was predeceased by: his son Jacob Randall; his parent Mary Smith; his mother-in-law Jackie Jackson; and his grandparents, Jewel Thompson and Everett Ely.
He is survived by: his son James Colten; his wife Holly Phelps; his son J. Colten Phelps (Lori); his stepfather Houston Smith; his sister-in-law Kelly Beatty (Jason); his nephew Madison; his brother-in-law Waylon Jackson (Tasha); his father-in-law Randall Jackson; and his aunt Maggie Huffman (Bobby). He is also survived by several cousins, other family and friends.
