He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rudder and Emily Rudder (Johnson); his siblings, Jack Rudder and Susie Mae Jeffery; and his son-in-law Bennie Dyer.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Rudder (Grant); his children, Kenneth William Rudder (Vickie) and Carrie Louise Dyer; his grandchildren, Joshua Dyer, Jennifer Johnson (Jay), Amanda Allen (Mike) and Nicholas Rudder; and his sister Sandra Doan. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
