He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Nichting and Mildred Nichting (Strasser); and his sister Janet Bruns (Nichting). He is survived by: his wife Carmela; his children, Ronald L. Nichting (Mary Jo), Thomas L. Nichting (Penny), Connie S. Dirheimer (Gary), Timothy R. Nichting (Christina Bloomfield) and Nancy A. Nichting; his grandchildren, Mark Nichting (Rachel), Jenna Trice (Marty), Ashley Tubb (Dale), Ryan Nichting (Emily), Bradley Ray Dirheimer, Brian Dirheimer (Megan), Ray Nichting (Megan), Natalie Saurber (Aaron) and TJ Nichting; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Reed, Eva, Elaina, Ernest, Tommy, Nolan, Olivia, Braden, Aubrey, Emerson, Ellie, Gia, Laila, Timothy, Anthony and Zachary.
Memorial contributions can be made to the West Side Little League or the Stephen T. Badin High School.
