It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zethalene C. Samples (Hamilton, Ohio), born in Kistler, West Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ira Leon Samples; her sons, Joseph Samples and Joshua Samples (Heidi); her siblings, Reatha Lee Wood, Francis Barnes, Willie and Nathaniel Dean; and her parents, Jennie Lee and Claude Dean.
She is survived by: her siblings, Madelyn, Pauline and Leonard Dean; and her children, Demetrius Samples, Zipporah Samples Jackson (Henry), Isaiah Samples, Lamidia Hayes, Lamidius Samples (Thumnieb), Saymara Nicks (Lonnie), Malachi Samples, Dr. Faith Samples-Smart, Dr. Lydia Samples Mattison (Kevin), Lydell Samples, Hezekiah Samples (Nicole), Siyon Ware (Antwon) and Siyonda Nadal (Carlos). She is also survived by 13 children, 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 13 great, great grandchildren.
