He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Lowther and Lela Mae Melton; and his sisters, Cindy Lowther, Ruth Ann Ladrach and Karen Lowther.

He is survived by: his wife Robin (Clemens); his children, Stephanie, James and Justin; and his brother Kenneth.
