He is survived by : his close friend Carol Dropsey; his son Mark Smith of Mansfield; and his granddaughters, Sherry Workman (Eric) of Shelby and Jennifer Brady (Greg Hall) of Ontario. He is also survived by 9 step great grandchildren.
