With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Cottrell (Hicksville, Ohio), born in Sherwood, Ohio, who passed away on April 30, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sohn and Estella Sohn (Smith); her son David Cottrell; and her son-in-law Larry Sziklay. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Sziklay of New Albany, Renae Cottrell of Hicksville and Lisa Cottrell (Steven Cumber) of Stafford, Virginia; her grandchildren, Sarah Cottrell Cumber of Waynesboro and Matthew Cottrell Cumber of Germantown; and her sister Doris Thurber (Del) of East Wenatchee.
